I bought Kibri's N scale kit "Stellwerk Backnang" No. 37807 as occasion at the "Rail" model railroad show in Houten as I wanted to add a signal tower to my Valkenveld module. The yellow brick walls and general appearance make it an architectoral design that could sit alongside my Dutch-based rail network. See for example the images of the former signal tower in Hilversum.
All parts were repainted to give the model a more prototypical feel: the blue window-frames were painted white and the brick walls received a yellow-white wash. The model was weathered with Vallejo pigments.
