Valkenveld will be shown at EUROSPOOR 2016

I just received confirmation that Valkenveld - together with modules from fellow modelers Marco and Jasiu - will be shown at EUROSPOOR 2016 from 28 to 30 October 2016 in Utrecht!

"Met genoegen bevestigen wij u uw deelname aan Eurospoor2016 dat zal worden gehouden van 28 t/m 30 oktober 2016 in de Jaarbeurs te Utrecht."

Well, I guess it's "back to the workshop" from now on, still a lot to be done...

Inspiration: British-themed N scale layout under construction

This weekend, a two day N scale event was held in the Dudok Arena, Hilversum. Here some images of a small British-themed layout under construction with an interesting track plan and layout concept. The two station modules can be folded on top of each other and a third module holds the fiddle yard.

ÖBB 2045 from Roco

Rolling stock from Austria seems to take over on Valkenveld/Falkenfeld recently. I bought a ÖBB 2045 from Roco today. These locomotives were offered until recently in starter kits. When the Modelbouwcentrum Hilversum offered just the locomotive, I could not resist. And acquired a freight car as well...
